Location: Greece
Client: OSE S.A. (Greek Railways Organization)
Date: 2015 – 2016

The railway line has two tracks and a maximum Design Speed of Ve = 60km/h.

The Design process comprises four stages:

  • Preliminary Design
  • Master Design
  • Detailed Design
  • Tender Documents

OBERMEYER’s assignment embraces the provision of engineering services in both the design and the tender phase.

The project includes 1 station, 2 Pedestrian bridges, 1 Cut &Cover and 1 road underpass. To keep the railway line in operation during the construction works, special measures were designed to ensure the ongoing operation. In addition, extensive landscaping is foreseen for the project, add open-air spaces with enhanced greenery in a densely built industrial and residential area in the city centre.
